How much does shipping cost?
Free standard shipping on all orders to the contiguous United States (the lower 48 states). No minimum purchase is required.
What are your delivery areas?
We ship to physical residential and commercial addresses within the lower 48 states. We currently do not ship to Alaska, Hawaii, P.O. boxes, APO/FPO/DPO addresses, U.S. territories or protectorates.
How long does shipping take?
In-stock items are processed within 2 business days (orders after 12:00 PM PT start the next business day). Estimated delivery is 7–14 business days. Pergolas and gazebos may ship by LTL freight with curbside delivery, and packages may arrive on different days.
Payment
What payment methods do you accept?
Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover, Diners Club, PayPal, Apple Pay, Google Pay, Amazon Pay and Shop Pay. Available options are shown at checkout.
Can I pay over time?
Yes. Choose Shop Pay Installments or Klarna at checkout. Terms depend on your order total and are shown before you confirm.
Is my payment secure?
Yes. Payments are processed through Shopify’s secure checkout and trusted payment providers. PalmaYard does not store your full card number.
Will I be charged customs duties or import fees?
No. We ship only within the contiguous U.S., with no customs duties, import tariffs or hidden delivery fees. Applicable state sales tax is calculated at checkout.
Returns & Refunds
What is your return policy?
You have 30 days from delivery to request a return on eligible items. Items must be unused, unassembled, in original packaging and complete with all parts, hardware and manuals.
How do I start a return?
Email support@palmayard.com within 30 days with your order number, the item, a brief reason and photos showing it’s unassembled. Please wait for our approval, return address and RMA number before shipping.
Are there any restocking fees?
No — $0 restocking fee on eligible returns. If we made an error (defective, damaged or incorrect item), we cover return shipping.
Which items are final sale?
Items become non-returnable once assembly or installation has begun. Clearance items, gift cards and separately ordered replacement parts are also final sale.
Product Information
What are your pergolas made of?
Mainly aluminum; some structural components may use stainless steel. See each product page for exact materials and specifications.
What can the adjustable louvers do?
The louvers adjust from 0 to 90 degrees to control sunlight, airflow and shade for different weather and outdoor needs.
Can the pergolas handle wind, snow and outdoor weather?
Yes. They’re designed for everyday outdoor conditions. We recommend proper installation and regular maintenance for long-term performance.
Assembly & Installation
Do the pergolas come pre-assembled?
No. Pergolas ship for self-assembly with snap-together components. Curbside delivery does not include unpacking, moving into the backyard or assembly.
Do you provide installation?
Yes, for California delivery addresses. It’s free for residential orders with 2+ pergolas, or one pergola and a $3,000+ subtotal. Otherwise it’s available for a flat fee of $1,280.
What does the assembly service include?
A trained two-person crew assembles the pergola on site, completes a final quality check and removes packaging. It does not include site preparation, foundations, electrical, permits or HOA approvals.
Warranty
What does the warranty cover?
Louvered pergolas: aluminum structural frame, beams and posts for 5 years; powder coat finish, louver blades, pivot mechanisms, hardware and drainage system for 1 year. Coverage starts on the delivery date for the original purchaser.
